Pada Bazaar Paket Wisata Domestik yang digelar di Mall Palembang Squareawal bulan Juni 2007 diikuti 32 perusahaan biro perjalanan. Dari kegiatan bazaar tersebut terjadi transaksi sekitar Rp 117,092 juta. 'Paket wisata yang paling banyak diminati pengunjung adalah Manado dan Bangka," kata Thamrin B.Bachri, Dirjen Pemasaran Departemen Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata (Depbudpar) dalam keterangannya di gedung Sapta Pesona, Jumat (15/6).
